Inside the basilica there are precious medieval mosaics and many baroque artworks, among which the beautiful wooden ceiling and the main altar with the amazing ciborium by Nicolas Cordier. The mausoleum of Constantina, or mausoleum of St. Costanza, is part of the complex and it was built by emperor Constantine\u2019s daughter close to the basilica.
